Coptis chinensis 15 grams, tannic acid 0.7 grams, procaine 5 grams, glycerin 100 ml, distilled water added to make up to 1000 ml.
Extract Coptis chinensis twice using distilled water by boiling, combine filtrates, concentrate to make each ml equivalent to 2 grams of raw herb. Add 95% ethanol, precipitate for 24 hours, filter, remove alcohol, then dissolve in appropriate amount of injection water, heat nearly to boiling, filter again after water sedimentation. Filter the above solution, add alum, tannic acid, procaine, and glycerin, dissolve completely, then add injection water to make up to 1000 ml. Add activated carbon at 0.3%, heat nearly to boiling, cool slightly, filter through fine filter, fill into bottles, sterilize at 100°C for 30 minutes. After lamp inspection and microbial culture testing, store for later use.
This formula is from renowned TCM physician Ding Zemin of Jiangsu Province. Functions: harden and shrink hemorrhoidal nodules, stop bleeding. Suitable for internal hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids in all stages.
