【Differential Diagnosis】Internal accumulation of damp-heat, external exposure to seasonal pathogenic toxins; interaction between epidemic toxins and damp-heat, lodging in spleen and lung meridians, pathogen disperses through qi level, disturbs qi, erupts on skin surface.
【Treatment Principle】Clear heat, detoxify, drain dampness.
【Formula Name】Yin Qiao Er Ding Tang.
【Composition】6–10 grams each of honeysuckle and honeysuckle flower, 6–10 grams of Liuyi Powder (wrapped), 6–10 grams of plantain seed, 10–15 grams of purple flowered begonia, 10–15 grams of yellow flowered begonia.
【Usage】Boil to yield 50–100 ml, divide into 2–3 doses, take orally. Second decoction used externally to wash affected area.
