🌿 Night Crying Formula Series

Composition
Licorice, wheat, jujube. Note: This formula originates from Jin Kui Yao Lue. It nourishes the heart and calms the spirit, harmonizes the middle energizer, has a sedative effect on overexcited nerves, and relieves acute spasms. Especially commonly used for "dry-internal-heat" syndrome in women. (Dry-internal-heat syndrome manifests as unexplained sadness or crying over trivial matters, tantrums, insomnia, even unconsciousness, mania, frequent yawning.) This condition is mostly due to insufficient heart blood and liver qi stagnation. Individuals of any age or gender exhibiting these symptoms may use it. Indications: hysteria, neurasthenia, infant night crying, insomnia, mental agitation. Usage reference: Add dragon bone, Gastrodia elata, silkworm pupae, and cicada slough for sleep disturbance due to fright. Add San Huang Xie Xin Tang for insomnia due to heart fire excess. Add golden cicada for infant night crying. Differentiation comparison: This formula primarily treats unexplained sadness or crying, insomnia, and mental confusion. Ding Zhi Wan treats heart qi deficiency with palpitations, dizziness, worry, and forgetfulness. Yi Gan San treats liver qi hyperactivity causing nervous sensitivity, irritability, restlessness, insomnia, and headache.<night crying>
