🌿 Strengthening Stomach Porridge Type 2

Porridge composition: Hawthorn 30–40 grams (or fresh hawthorn 60 grams), glutinous rice 2 taels, sugar 10 grams.
Benefits and indications: Strengthens spleen and stomach, eliminates food accumulation, disperses blood stasis. Suitable for food stagnation, undigested meat accumulation, abdominal pain, diarrhea, postpartum blood stasis pain, incomplete lochia, delayed menstruation, dysmenorrhea, infantile indigestion, hypertension, coronary heart disease, coronary artery insufficiency, angina pectoris, hyperlipidemia.
Cooking method: First decoct hawthorn to obtain concentrated juice, remove residue, then add glutinous rice and sugar to cook porridge.
Precautions: The hawthorn porridge is sour-sweet, suitable as afternoon snack; avoid on empty stomach. One course lasts 7–10 days. Not recommended for chronic spleen-stomach weakness.
