🌿 Dietary Prevention of Dark Circles

In daily life, many people suffer from dark circles around the eyes, which not only affect appearance but may also indicate underlying health issues.
Causes of dark circles include: irregular diet, iron deficiency; smoking and drinking; low mood, excessive worry, or lack of sleep due to staying up late; endocrine or liver problems leading to pigment deposition around the eyes; lack of exercise and physical labor causing poor circulation; general weakness or recovery from illness; excessive sexual activity; and genetic predisposition. How can diet help treat dark circles?
First, maintain balanced diet and proper nutrition. Ensure adequate protein intake daily—eat more lean meats, milk, poultry eggs, seafood, etc., which are high in quality protein. Increase intake of vitamins A and E, as they nourish the eyes and eye muscles. Foods rich in vitamin A include animal liver, butter, poultry eggs, alfalfa, carrots, apricots. Foods rich in vitamin E include sesame seeds, peanuts, walnuts, sunflower seeds. Also pay attention to iron-rich foods, as iron is central to hemoglobin formation. Iron-rich foods include animal liver, seaweed, lean meat. When consuming iron-rich foods, also include vitamin C-rich foods like sour jujubes, oranges, tomatoes, and green vegetables, since vitamin C enhances iron absorption. You can also prepare a decoction with 50 grams black fungus, 10 red dates, and 100 grams brown sugar, taken twice daily. Regular consumption helps eliminate dark circles.
