🌿 Eat More Chicken to Boost Immunity if You Have Excessive Yin

Can eating more chicken enhance immunity in people with excessive yin? At the recent International Symposium on Bioactive Peptides, Nutrition, and Health, a newly released research report indicated that chicken and its extracts significantly improve immune function compared to control groups given distilled water.
Professor Cai Bing, Deputy Director of the Tianjin Biomedical Research Institute, stated that chicken extracts have two major effects on immune system improvement: first, increasing two types of immune cells responsible for eliminating harmful organisms—T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes; second, helping the immune system identify internal and external threats and respond quickly.
Professor Cai Meiqin, Nutrition Professor at Shanghai Second Medical University and member of the Municipal Nutrition Society, noted from both traditional Chinese medicine and nutritional perspectives, chicken and chicken soup are ideal for urban sub-health individuals with poor digestive function who still require adequate nutrition for tonification.
