🌿 Folk Remedy for Acute Icteric Hepatitis

Rhubarb Tea
Ingredients: Raw rhubarb 15g.
Preparation and Usage: Wash the herb, steep in boiling water as tea, one dose daily. For patients with fever, nausea, vomiting, or inability to eat, provide appropriate fluid replacement; stop supplementation once symptoms improve. If loose stools occur during use, reduce rhubarb dosage and add rice gruel. Once symptoms largely disappear and liver function returns to normal, continue taking the formula but reduce rhubarb to 3–5g to consolidate efficacy.
Efficacy: This formula treated 157 cases of acute icteric hepatitis; cured 37 cases, improved 18 cases, ineffective 2 cases.
