Fire-red Chain Snake Wine
[Drug Composition] One whole Fire-red Chain Snake (common name: Fire San Gen)
[Function and Indications] Expel wind, dispel cold, warm meridians, relieve pain.
[Usage and Dosage] Drink twice daily, half a liang each time. Used for treating arthralgia.
[Preparation Method] Place the live snake in clean water for one or two hours, then pour it into a glass bottle or other container. Based on snake size, add 0.5–1kg of high-proof sorghum or yellow wine (over 60°), tightly seal the bottle. When the snake struggles and dies in the wine, let it steep for half a month until the wine turns slightly yellow, then it can be consumed.
