【Differential Diagnosis】Wind-heat toxin combined with phlegm-heat stagnation in the skin and muscles.
【Treatment Principle】Disperse wind, clear heat, resolve phlegm, reduce swelling.
【Formula Name】Phlegm-Toxin Decoction.
【Composition】Great Burdock Seed 15g, Radish Seed 15g, Forsythia 15g, Apricot Kernel 9g, Mint 5g (added later), Schizonepeta 9g, Prunella 15g, Silkworm Pupa 9g.
【Usage】First decoction: boil 1500ml water, simmer gently for 15 minutes after boiling, extract juice. Second decoction: add 500ml water, boil and simmer gently for 10 minutes, extract juice. Mix both juices, add 30g sugar, concentrate to 100ml. Children: three times daily, 20ml each time. Adults: twice daily, 50ml each time.
